utilise « la roue durable» . C'est un mandala avec 20 thèmes importants
dans le domaine de la durabilité organisé en quatre dimensions: sociale,
écologique, économique et vision globale. Akasha a utilisé ces 20 thèmes
lors de l'élaboration du plan source.

Pays-Bas - Centraal wonen cohousing - Autogestion,
coopérative d'habitation et vie en communauté - il y a plus de 100
projets de Centraal Wonen (co-habitat) aux Pays Bas. Dans l’ensemble,
les centraal wonen sont souvent gérés par des services publics, comme en
Suède . La coopérative d'habitation constitue une alternative à deux
solutions «traditionnelles» que nous connaissons aux Pays-Bas: la
location individuelle d'un appartement auprès d'une partie extérieure et
la propriété individuelle d'une maison. Dans les coopératives
d'habitation, les personnes sont plus directement impliquées dans la
gestion de leur maison et du cadre de vie.
Cohousing (centraal wonen in Dutch) is a form of intentional community where
people consciously choose to live together and where households have a separate
dwelling or housing unit available, and common areas and facilities sharing. The
LVCW sees communities as a habitat where a number of social goals are more
likely to achieve development. Including: development opportunities for each
individual, emancipation, dealing with environmental awareness, solidarity and
social justice.
GWL aux Pays-Bas: un quartier écologique Un quartier

un vrai quartier urbain, dense, écologique et socialement mixte, conçu
avec une intense participation des futurs habitants - PDF, film A Rotterdam, le crowdfunding fait le pont (littéralement "financement par la foule"): Le pont piétonnier Luchtsingel de Rotterdam: La firme Zones Urbaines Sensibles a décidé d'éviter les moyens traditionnels et de réaliser la structure grâce au socio -financement. Plus de 1300 personnes ont participé à la campagne. Les citoyens qui souhaitent «investir» peuvent acheter une planche du pont pour 32,50 $US ou un segment complet du pont pour 162,50 $US - Lancée en 2011, l’opération a permis, dans un premier temps, de récolter plus de 100.000€

La Cité du Soleil est un projet d'extension du côté sud de la ville de Heerhugowaard aux Pays-Bas. Sur une surface d'approximativement 120 hectares, plus de 2.900 habitations et un certain nombre d'équipements sont en construction. LVCW proclaims that central living is "for the emancipation of man, woman and child" (Ren Krabbe). The Dutch view collaborative housing as a tool for reforming society -- not only relieving the isolation of the one-family home, but also that of the nuclear family structure itself. Central Living in the Netherlands: The Influence of Architecture on Social Structure Dutch "centraal wonen" (central living) began in 1969 when Lies van Dooremaal, a mother overwhelmed by the combination of professional work, housekeeping, and child care, published a plea in the local newspaper. She called for housing with common amenitie s to break the cycle of parental isolation and overwork.
